View full detailsFilippi is a family-run pasticceria in the town of Zanè in the Veneto region and is known as one of the top producers of panettoni in Italy.
Maria and Giuliano Filippi started baking panettoni in 1972, using the finest quality ingredients. Today, their sons Andrea and Lorenzo carry on the tradition with the same dedication, values, and enthusiasm.
Filippi's philosophy is that excellent products—prepared with respect, care, and passion—require a significant amount of time. Devoting adequate attention to their products is the key to Filippi's success: time to develop ideas, reinterpret their family tradition, and encapsulate childhood memories; time to seek out excellent ingredients such as hand-peeled citrus, free-range eggs, selected flours, fresh butter, daily delivered milk, Bourbon vanilla beans, and Italian honey; time to allow the dough, made from the same natural yeast base used for over 40 years, to rise slowly and then be baked to perfection; and of course, time to taste, share, and savor their delicacies until the last crumb.
For the Filippi family, conducting business means making a positive impact on the world. As a certified B Corporation, they voluntarily subject every aspect of their business to rigorous scrutiny to ensure they meet the highest social and environmental standards. Their carefully selected ingredients are sourced from producers who care for and respect their animals, land, and workers. Furthermore, all their panettoni are packed using Forest Stewardship Council-certified papers and ribbons obtained from recycled materials.
