Ordering

Does TorroneCandy have retail stores?
No. However, from May-October you can find us at various Italian festivals throughout the Northeast. Find out if we're going to be coming to a festival near you.

Can I place an order via phone?
Yes! Call us at 201-562-0312.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and PayPal.

Other methods may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact a representative for more information.

Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. After your order has been processed through our secure shopping cart, you will receive an email with your order details.

Can I modify my order?
If you would like to modify an existing order, please contact us for more information.

Will the product I order always be available?
We strive to keep our online inventory up to date. Occasionally, especially at peak periods, a product may be out of stock before our online inventory has been updated. If this occurs, we will contact you to determine if you would like to substitute the item, have us issue a refund for the item or wait until the item is back in stock.

Gifts

Can I add a gift message to my order?
Yes. During checkout you will have the opportunity to add a gift message. 

Do you include prices on your packing slips?
No. The packing slip only includes the name and quantity of the products ordered as well as the name and address of the recipient and sender.

Can I customize a gift basket?
Yes. You can choose from our standard gift baskets or contact us so that we can create a custom basket for you.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
No. We do not gift wrap individual items. However, many of the products that we offer have attractive packaging already.

I ordered a gift basket/box but an item was substituted. Why?
Occasionally an item in a gift basket or box is unavailable. If this occurs, TorroneCandy reserves the right to substitute that item with an item of equal or greater value.

 

Pricing & Discounts

Do you offer bulk order discounts?
Yes. If you are looking for large quantities for weddings, reunions, etc., please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.

Do you offer discount codes?
Yes. Keep your eyes out for discount codes and specials in our newsletter and on our homepage.

When will my favorite product be back in stock?
Our products are subject to availability due to weather and seasonal variations.

Torrone Candy reserves the right to make changes to its pricing.

How many pieces of torroncini are there in a pound?
Torroncini is available by the pound. Click here for more information.

How should torrone be stored?
Keep torrone in a cool, dry place. Hard torrone should be stored in the freezer if being saved for longer periods of time.

How do I cut hard torrone?
Place the 1 lb or 5lb block of hard torrone on a firm, flat surface or cutting board. Place a cleaver, heavy knife, or screwdriver in the middle of the piece torrone. Tap gently but firmly on the knife with a hammer or rubber mallet. A serrated knife will not work. Don’t hit the knife too hard or it will crumble into pieces. Repeat with each smaller piece. And enjoy!

How do I cut soft torrone?
Lay the block of soft torrone on a firm, flat surface. Press firmly into the torrone with a steak or chef's knife. Do not saw back and forth.

What types of torrone are good for a wedding or party?
Given as favors or placed on a dessert table, torrone is a wonderful addition to weddings and parties. Depending on individual needs, there are several possibilities, and we'll be happy to work with you to find the perfect item for your event. We suggest torroncini, block of torrone, slices, and cubes - as they are the most popular. Contact us for more advice and suggestions.

What's the white stuff on my chocolate items? Is it safe to eat?
Yes! It's not old and completely safe to eat. The "whitish powder" is not mold, it's called chocolate bloom. Bloom can occur when there is a change in the temperature but the quality of the product is not affected.

Can I request a product I don't see on your site?
We love to hear from our customers about new products they would like for us to source. Let us know what you're looking for and we'll be happy to consider it.
