How should torrone be stored?
To preserve its quality, it is advisable to store torrone in a cool and dry location. If you plan to keep it for an extended period of time, you may opt to freeze hard torrone.
How do I cut hard torrone?
Place the block on a flat surface or cutting board. Place a cleaver, heavy knife, or clean screwdriver in the middle of the block. Tap gently but firmly on the knife with a hammer or rubber mallet. Avoid using a serrated knife will not work. Don’t hit the knife too hard or the block will crumble into pieces. Repeat with each smaller piece. Growing up we would put the piece of hard torrone in a paper bag and hit it with a hammer. This also works! Enjoy!
How do I cut soft torrone?
Place the block on a flat surface or cutting board and using a sizable steak or chef's knife place firm steady downward pressure on the block to cut. Avoid sawing it back and forth. Enjoy!
Can you suggest some torrone for or a wedding or party?
Torrone is a great addition to weddings and parties, whether given as favors or placed on a dessert table. We offer several options to suit individual needs and will work with you to find the perfect item for your event. Our most popular choices include torroncini, blocks of torrone, slices, and cubes. Ordering and shipping
How much will it cost to ship my order?
Orders over $100 before ship for free with ground shipping. Orders under $100 ship for $9.99. Please visit our Shipping & Returns page for more detailed information and exclusions.
Can I ship to multiple addresses?
Yes, but in order to ship to multiple addresses you will need to place separate orders. Each address will incur a shipping fee. Orders over $100 ship for free with standard ground shipping.
I made a mistake! Can I modify my order?
If you notice a mistake, please contact us right away. We will try our best to make the correction before your order leaves our warehouse. If you would like to modify an existing order, please contact us.
What if a product becomes unavailable after I order it?
We strive to keep our online inventory up to date. Occasionally, especially at peak periods, a product may be out of stock before our online inventory has been updated. If this occurs, we will contact you to determine if you would like to substitute the item, have us issue a refund for the item, or wait until the item is back in stock.
Does Torrone Candy have retail stores?
No. However, from May-October you can find us at various Italian festivals throughout the Northeast.
Can I place an order via phone?
Yes! Call us at 201-562-0312. We have a very small team and cannot always answer the phone. Leave a message and we'll call you back or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you offer bulk order discounts?
Yes! If you are looking for large quantities for weddings, reunions, etc., please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.
Do you offer discount codes?
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Shop, Google Pay, and others.
Can I add a gift message to my order?
Yes! On the cart page there is a space to add a gift message. If you miss this during checkout, just email us and we'll help.
Do you include prices on your packing slips?
No. The packing slip only includes the name and quantity of the products ordered as well as the name and address of the recipient and sender.
Can I customize a gift basket?
Yes! You can add "Build Your Own Gift Basket" to the cart, then pick your items and we'll do the rest. Or contact us so that we can create a custom basket for you. We love to make custom baskets!
Do you offer gift wrapping?
No. We do not gift wrap individual items. However, many of the products that we offer have attractive packaging already. You can add "Build Your Own Gift Basket" to the cart, then pick your items and we'll arrange a wonderful basket with your items. Or contact us so that we can create a custom basket for you.
I ordered a gift basket/box but an item was substituted. Why?
Occasionally an item in a gift basket or box is unavailable. If this occurs, Torrone Candy reserves the right to substitute that item with an item of equal or greater value.
Are you the manufacturer?
No, we don't make, package, or distribute the torrone! We work hard to source a wide variety of brands of torrone and confections but we don't make any of the products that we sell. For more information on the products we offer, visit our Product Selection page.
Why are so many items out of stock?
If you visit our site during the Spring, Summer, or early Fall you may notice that many of the products we carry are out of stock. This is because the majority of the Italian torrone and confection companies only ship to the U.S. for the winter holiday season. Starting in the Fall we begin to receive shipments of our favorite holiday items and continue to do so right up until Christmas! However, there are some products that we are able to carry all year long, letting you enjoy torrone throughout the year!

Can I request a product I don't see on your site?
We love to hear from our customers about new products they would like for us to source. Let us know what you're looking for and we'll be happy to consider it.
What's the white stuff on my chocolate?
Yes! It's not old and completely safe to eat. The "whitish powder" is not mold, it's called chocolate bloom. Bloom can occur when there is a change in temperature.
