Love soft torrone but prefer hazelnuts? Hazelnuts, sugar, honey and egg whites are blended together to make this chewy Italian treat.
The Oliviero family has been producing exceptional Italian torrone since the early 20th century. Imported from Monteforte Irpino near Avellino, Italy, Oliviero uses only the best ingredients to craft their traditional torrone.
This Torrone is very good. It brings back many memories as my parents grew up in Avellino. My relatives would send them every time they visited. The bars are a little narrower than I remember but taste the same as I remember it as a child.
I’m from Lombardia, therefore I should prefer the Cremona’s torrone, but I have to admit that this one from he Gulf. Of Naples is up to its standard!
The torrone was terrific! But the customer service you find at Torrone Candy is even better. I love ordering from them.
