Amaretti are delicious almond-flavored crunchy cookies are made in Saronno, Italy. Legend states that Amaretti biscuits were created three centuries ago by two young lovers for the Cardinal of Milan. Made by slowly baking a blend of sugar, apricot kernels, and egg whites, these crunchy round biscuits are decorated with sparkling white sugar and wrapped in colorful paper.

Not only do they produce excellent amaretti, but they also have wonderful baci di dama, panettone, pandoro, and lemon cookies!
