I Contadini

I Contadini is a family farm based in Ugento, in the southern Salento region of Puglia — the very heel of Italy, nestled in the countryside behind some of the most beautiful beaches on the Ionian coast.

The company was founded in 2003 by siblings Edoardo, Emanuele, and Gianna Trentin, who took over a farm originally established in the 1970s by their maternal grandfather.

Today, I Contadini cultivates 52 hectares of land across several plots in the Ugento, Nardò, and Galatina areas, with a team of 50 collaborators and a true field-to-table philosophy.

Their taralli are made with premium Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, briefly boiled before baking traditionally, giving them their signature crunch and exceptional texture. The flavors range from classic to inventive, including fennel to chocolate and almonds.

I Contadini is the real thing — a small, passionate, family-run farm making products the way they've always been made, on land they love.
