Fancy Food Show

I just returned from the Fancy Food Show in NYC. Every year producers of all sorts of delicious food items gather at the Javits Center in Manhattan to show off their latest creations. It's a great time to meet with our suppliers from Italy and to source new items for the holiday season. I tried numerous biscotti, tarallini, panettone and of course torrone. I was on the lookout for any gluten free items and we'll hopefully have some on offer during the holidays. Many of the factories in Italy close for a few weeks in August so even though it's 90 degrees right now, we're putting together our holiday orders.
