Giorgio Poeta Girasole Sunflower Honey

Master beekeeper Giorgio Poeta developed a technique for his Sfumature line that minimizes air incorporation during extraction, resulting in a creamy, silky honey that retains its integrity. This method enhances the honey's texture without the mechanical processes used in traditional creamed honey. 

Poeta’s Sunflower Honey features an egg yolk-yellow color and offers a floral, citrusy aroma with sweet notes of honeycomb and apricot jam. It is harvested from sunflowers grown along the Adriatic coast in Ancona and Monte San Pietrangeli, particularly vibrant in July when the fields bloom.
